Welcome to Seaplane Cove Classic Auto Garage:  This item is one in a series of photos of classic and unique aircrafts that we have used or consider using in our Aircraft Calendars featuring specific makes and models of aircrafts and floats.  Photos in this series are from fly ins, visits to airports, grass strips and nearby coves and waterways throughout the world.  Featured in this photo is an L-19 “Bird Dog”, a two place aircraft developed by the Army from the commercial Cessna Model 170 in 1949 with pilot in the front and observer in the rear who’s job was vital in war efforts.  This “Bird Dog” was photographed at the Annual Seaplane Fly In Greenville Maine, the longest and largest continually running seaplane fly in in the world.  Photos are available on high quality, glossy, museum grade, acid free, archival paper in 8½”x11”, 13”x19” and 17”x22” and cost $10, $20, $30 plus shipping respectively.  These photos make great gifts for any seaplane pilot or aviation enthusiast.
