Featured in this Aircraft Watercolor Photo Sketch is 1 of 76 Grumman Super Widgeon G-44A models, originally designed as a multi-engine, fixed wing, 5 passenger anti-sub flying boat.  After WWII, Grumman redesigned the hull to improve water handling and increase seating.  This aircraft was photographed on Pleasant Lake during the Speculator NY Seaplane Fly In and FAA Safety Seminar - Adirondack Mountains.
