This item is a high quality, handmade pillow with a graphic of the cover of the 1946 “Civil Aeronautics Board – Safety Bureau Seaplane Safety Bulletin” by Harold G. Crowley of the Accident Analysis Division. The graphic is a classic drawing of a smiling seaplane pilot taking off, ready to enjoy an afternoon of flying unknowingly raising the wake and rocking the boat of a nearby fisherman. Of course we all know that this sort of thing would never happen today! The graphic is true to its age, with darkened boarders and a fine yellow patina. This pillow is a fine addition to any aircraft, SPB, hangar, living room or den, a perfect gift for the seaplane enthusiast.

Each pillow is finished with rugged seams and an overlap slit closure on the back for easy access to the stuffing to allow for easy washing. The picture on the front of the pillow is reproduced on imported habotai silk and framed with a solid color as shown or can be personalized with a color of your choice. The back of the pillow is made of black heavy canvas duck. Pillows can be individually made with a photo of your choice including your aircraft, boat, auto etc. Please provide a high resolution, digital photo file for customized orders and allow 3 to 4 weeks for delivery. Pillows come sealed in a see through, clear plastic re-sealable sleeve and shipped First Class World Wide.
