About Seaplane Cove Classic Auto Garage

Welcome to SEAPLANE COVE CLASSIC AUTO GARAGE. We are a couple of guys who are seaplane and classic British sports car enthusiasts who’s hobbies have turned into a growing and unique enterprise. Over the years we have owned and rebuild Sunbeam Alpines and other British sports cars and currently own and have rebuilt an Aeronca Champ on floats. John’s father ran a seaplane base on a large Maine river and John has been flying floats since age 5. John writes the annual Float Manufactures Guide for the Seaplane Pilot’s Association WaterFlying Magazine and has become somewhat of a local legend with information about flying floats and seaplanes. Bob has been photographing and making videos since his college days. He currently works with the Fly In Committee for the International Seaplane Fly In Greenville Maine putting together the Annual Fly In Guide and has been photographing and videoing the Fly In for years. We invite you to look through our catalog of Aviation, Seaplane, Floatplane, Flyingboat photos, videos, calendars and posters of fly in and car meets throughout New England and New York.
